CASE STUDY

Mental Health in Junior Doctors

A team of researchers at the University of Birmingham commissioned us to create a short documentary telling the story behind their research findings about the mental health and working cultures of NHS junior doctors.

How we got there

We spent time understanding the research findings in order to understand them and identify the best person to represent them on camera. We worked closely with the impact film’s protagonist, Charlotte, to understand what she was and wasn’t comfortable with leading up to the shoot. This helped us to craft an authentic story that hit the key messaging points. Along the way, the client also had the chance to provide feedback before and after the shoot, as well as during the edit.

Key client stakeholders and Charlotte were also involved along the way as we devised our impact strategy. We involved press, charities, and influential figures among the client’s target audience.
